Melbourne Punk Pioneers - Over-reactor - Album Launch @ Ding Dong Lounge August 13 supported by Piggy and Chaos Radio
Debut Album ‘Lose Your Delusion’ out August 9 - Get it for FREE!!!
Drawing their musical and business influences from the hard-core and punk movements of the late seventies and early eighties, Melbourne's OVER-REACTOR are setting their own agenda, and reshaping the look and feel of live music as they go.
Ezekiel Ox (ex Mammal, Full Scale Revolution) and Cory Blight (ex Dukes of Windsor, The Director's Cult) might have only been collaborating for six months, but have already toured with Cog, played headline shows in Melbourne, and recorded mixed and mastered their own double album - Lose Your Delusion 1 & 2.
The first instalment (17 cathartic Death-Hop tracks) will be available for free download from www.over-reactor.com on Monday the 9th of August. The first album also features the tracks ‘Something More’ which features Aria Award Winning Guitar Slinger - Chris Cheney, and ‘Naked Words’. Once again, that's 17 tracks - for free when you sign up to the Over-reactor website.
To celebrate this generous offer from the band, they will be playing a launch show at DING DONG LOUNGE - on August 13th, with a live show that has to be seen to be believed. Support will be coming from Piggy and Chaos Radio. Hard copy albums, t-shirts, red wine and baked beans will also be available on the night for those who still prefer the physical product.
There is no doubt, this band won't be on the ground floor for long, so now's the time to get in.
