Squasha in WA Hall of Fame

Great to see Squasha inducted to the WA Music Hall of Fame.

I met Squasha when he was 18. He worked for and with me whilst I was in Perth and has gone on to heights I can only imagine. He is a mover and shaker, the guy to be tour manager to "hard to manage" bands. He has run the Big Day Out in Perth since its inception, as well as Soundwave. He has put on untold tours in Perth as well as managing the odd band and booking venues.

He toured lots of artists throughout all of WA and many bands have cato thank him for interesting experiences. And punters can thank him for taking interesting bands to Perth. Alternative bands have always had a good run, given the long way and costs to travel.

A larger than life figure, a friend for 30 years. I'm sure we all have Squasha stories. I forgive him for being a Hawthorn supporter.
